Welcome to the Detroit Institute of TechnoIn our library of music you'll find techno mixes selected for freshness, relevance, and overall high-quality. Although Detroit is the birthplace of techno all styles of techno are featured here: Detroit, minimal, electro, tech house, and all electronic dance music derived from and influenced by Detroit techno. This is a user-driven site. You are encouraged to vote for sets you like, fill in play lists, post links to DJ sets you find, and discuss the music. Find the latest posted sets in the Unpublished section waiting for you to vote them up. |
Sets are sorted by date and popularity and it's up to you to vote for ones you like.
As a user new sets/stories you post will go to the unpublished stories page until enough people vote for it to go to the main page.
We encourage you to publish stories that link as directly as possible to the music and to explain why the set is relevant to the ongoing story of techno. We will try not to send readers to files hosted on cheesy time delay upload sites and we encourage you to do the same.
