Although Detroit is the birthplace of techno all styles of techno are featured here: Detroit, minimal, electro, tech house, and all electronic dance music derived from and influenced by Detroit techno. This is a user-driven site. You are encouraged to vote for sets you like, fill in play lists, post links to DJ sets you find, and discuss the music. We encourage you to publish stories that link as directly as possible to the music and to explain why the set is relevant to the ongoing story of techno. We will try not to send readers to files hosted on cheesy time delay upload sites and we encourage you to do the same.
